  • Managing applications for residence permits, work permits, visas, citizenship, and other immigration-related matters.
  • Maintaining proactive and ongoing communication with clients, keeping them informed of application progress and any relevant regulatory developments.
  • Supporting clients in the preparation of appeal submissions and responses to inquiries from immigration authorities.
  • Liaising directly with local immigration and tax authorities on behalf of clients.
  • Handling the registration of documents at the Malta Public Registry, CFR, Identità, and other relevant government departments.
  • Providing guidance on the conditions and procedural steps required for obtaining various types of licences in Malta.
  • Staying current with changes in local and international immigration legislation and advising clients accordingly.
  • Assisting in the delivery of internal training sessions on immigration law updates for colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the firm's content creation efforts, including articles, publications, and regulatory updates on immigration matters.
  • Collaborating with other departments within the firm to deliver holistic and integrated legal services to clients.

What We Offer

The successful candidate will join a professional and collaborative legal environment, working alongside an experienced Head of Immigration and Immigration Partner who will provide structured mentorship and review. This role offers meaningful exposure to a wide range of immigration matters and programmes, with clear scope for professional development within the firm.

Requirements
  • Minimum of two years experience in immigration law in Malta, with demonstrable exposure to residency permits and residency/citizenship programmes; prior experience across multiple programmes is highly desirable.
